Conference on Tolerance and Nondiscrimination in Astana
Morocco voiced "growing" concern about the increasing Islamophobia, Morocco's Ambassador to the international organizations Omar Znibar said on Tuesday in Astana (Kazakhstan). Speaking at a conference of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Znibar underlined the importance to "strongly condemn the confusion, made by the media and some public discourses, between any religion and terrorism".

French Foreign Ministry marks Aladdin Project’s first anniversary
Aladdin Project celebrated its first anniversary in late March 2010. On this occasion, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs has produced a podcast titled "Aladdin Project after a year" in which Anne-Marie Revcolevschi, President of Aladdin Project presented the outline of this project. The podcast has been posted on the ministry’s websites and youtube.
Symposium on European Muslims’ Perceptions of the Holocaust
The symposium, to be held in Paris from June 2 to 4, explores contemporary perceptions of the Holocaust among European Muslims. Scholars and experts from European countries such as France, Germany, UK and the Netherlands are invited to discuss these issues from their perspective. The Aladdin Project's Jean Mouttapa and Abe Radkin will address the symposium.
Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel: King of Morocco is "man of peace"
In an interview published in French-language weekly "L'Observateur du Maroc", Shlomo Amar, Chief Rabbi of the Sephardic community in Israel, described King Mohammed VI of Morocco as a "man of peace" and hoped the sovereign would "continue to promote peace" in the Middle-East.
